Francesca Bianchi creates exceptional perfumes, which are an expression of her deepest feelings.

With a very high concentration of perfume, her Extrait de Parfum are coveted all over the world as authentic works of art, which, curiously enough, is the degree that Francesca Bianchi holds.

Francesca Bianchi loves strong fragrances, always with an animalic touch to them. And she set out to create something in that vein.

But she realised that what she likes in other people’s creations is not necessarily what she likes to create herself.

So after many tests and changes, she realised that little by little she was removing all those notes she was passionate about, or relegating them to very small quantities. The result was the formula for Under my Skin, a leathery, somewhat animalic, powdery, velvety and, most importantly for her, elegant fragrance.

The name comes from a conversation with an artist and fragrance lover, who told her that the scent seems to come from the skin, and not to be sprayed from the outside.

This reinforced her idea of going towards something more subtly “human” than overtly “animal”.

The heart of the fragrance is a combination of animalic notes and leather, softened by iris butter. After working on this core, he worked on the base, composed by Tolu balsam, Peru balsam, tonka bean and various woods.

The last step of the work was the opening, in which she used grapefruit and lavender, a note she usually shuns, but here it plays a subtle and elegant role.

Under my Skin, it’s like letting your elegance and sensuality free.
