INSURED SHIPMENTS, WE DO NOT SEND BY ORDINARY MAIL OR ANY OTHER METHOD OUTSIDE THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS.
*Possible Delays: Sometimes, circumstances beyond our control, such as logistical issues or adverse weather conditions, can lead to delivery delays. In these situations, we ask for your patience – we’re always here to assist you!
*²Taxes and Delivery to Specific Destinations: Items purchased in Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, Switzerland, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, United Kingdom, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro are exempt from the Spanish VAT of 21%. You’ll be responsible for taxes applied in the destination country. If these taxes are not paid and the package is returned, we will refund the order amount after deducting return and shipping costs, even if the shipping was originally free due to reaching a minimum order amount.
Each export involves a Single Customs Document (DUA), which is billed to us by the courier. This cost is included in the shipping fees, and we cover a portion of it.
It is essential for the customer to provide their ID number or national ID if the package is to be shipped to non-EU countries. No shipment will be made without this information.
Tax Information for Orders from the European Union (EU): When placing orders from the European Union (EU), it is crucial to consider the variability of tax rates based on the destination country.
In accordance with the EU regulation known as the One-Stop Shop (OSS), each EU country establishes its own general tax rate, which will be automatically applied when processing your order. We are committed to accurately reflecting these taxes in the summary of your purchase during the payment process. This does not affect the final retail price of the product.
Shipping and Rates: We understand that each destination is unique, which is why shipping costs may vary across Europe. However, you always have the option of free shipping when you reach a minimum order amount, and we strive to cover a portion of the costs. All shipments originate from Barcelona – thank you for your understanding!
Shipping Options: We collaborate with Correos Express, Correos, Seur, and DHL, depending on the destination. Our goal is to ensure your order arrives safely and promptly.
Shipping on Non-Working Days: Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed and dispatched on the following working day. Your satisfaction is our priority.
Shipping Orders Without Samples: If you place an order without samples during the week, we’ll send it on the next working day. In exceptional cases, it might even be dispatched on the same day if we receive the order before 10 AM (Spanish time). This depends on our workload.
Presentation and Care of Shipments: We value elegance in every detail. Each shipment is prepared with care and presented in customized boxes, reflecting the essence of Daring Light.
Order Photography: We take photos of all orders before shipping, ensuring everything is in perfect condition both inside and outside the package.
Orders with Pre-order or Backorder Items: If your order includes reserved items, please note that it will be shipped once it’s complete. We do not send partial shipments in these cases. The delay for orders with reserved items is typically three to four days from the receipt of your order. This is because these items are subject to immediate replenishment.
Returns: If you choose to return an item, you have up to 14 days from the receipt of your order to notify us. Items must be in their original, unopened condition. If they have been tampered with, we cannot accept the return. In the case of customer-initiated returns, the shipping costs will be borne by you.
Please note that RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR CONTACT WITH DARING LIGHT. In the event of a return showing evidence of customer tampering, unfortunately, we cannot accept it. In this situation, the item will be resent to you, and we will get in touch to coordinate payment for the new shipment.
You should take utmost care to protect the item being returned, using the same means provided during delivery.
Refund Options: Once we have received and approved the return, you will have the choice of two refund options. You can opt for a store credit for the return amount, which you can use for future purchases at Daring Light. Alternatively, we can refund the return amount to the same payment method you used for the original purchase. We want to ensure your experience with us is convenient and satisfying.
Excessively Costly Destinations: In exceptional cases where shipping costs are excessively high for the destination, we may decide not to ship the order. We will inform you promptly and seek the best solution.
