SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

At Daring Light, we are Cristina and Sergio, and we love to take care of every detail of your shopping experience. From the moment you choose a fragrance to when it arrives at your home, we make sure everything meets the standards you deserve. We understand how important it is for you to receive your products safely and quickly, which is why we’ve designed our shipping and returns policies to offer you a transparent, straightforward service with no surprises.

We want you to feel supported at every moment, and that any question or concern you have is addressed with the personalized attention that defines us. We would love for your experience with Daring Light to be as special for you as it is for us to select and offer each fragrance.

Below, we explain how we handle shipments, delivery times, and how to proceed if you need to make a return. We are here to assist you at every step, so if you need anything else, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Transit Times:

At Daring Light, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can affect delivery times. Factors such as logistical issues or adverse weather conditions may cause delays. While we do our best to meet the estimated timelines, in exceptional cases, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience. We will keep you informed about your order’s status and offer personalized assistance at all times. Marked with * in the table.

If you need to receive your order urgently, even to destinations not covered in our express shipping policy, we can arrange it upon request. Simply contact us, and we will find the best solution to meet your needs.

Please note that express shipping is an exclusive service and is not offered for free under any circumstances. However, Daring Light is committed to covering any additional costs that may arise from unexpected weight variances, ensuring a fair and transparent shopping experience.

Important Information About Transit Times During Holiday Seasons

During holiday periods, especially Christmas, transit times may be affected due to the high volume of shipments handled by courier services. As a result, the usual delivery time for standard shipments within Spain (48/96 hours) might be extended.

If you need your order urgently, we recommend choosing an express shipping method, as these are generally given priority and are more likely to meet delivery deadlines compared to standard shipping options.

Taxes and Delivery to Specific Destinations:

Orders to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Switzerland, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, the United Kingdom, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro are exempt from Spanish VAT (21%). However, customers will be responsible for local taxes and any applicable customs charges. If these are not paid and the package is returned, we will refund the order amount, deducting shipping and return costs, even if the shipping was free due to reaching the order minimum. For these destinations, it is mandatory to provide a national ID number or DNI before shipping can proceed. No shipments will be made without this information.

Shipping within the European Union (EU):

For orders within the EU, the destination country’s tax rate will be applied according to the One-Stop Shop (OSS) regulations. These taxes will automatically be reflected in your shopping cart during checkout. This will not affect the product’s retail price (RRP).

Shipping Fees:

Shipping fees vary depending on the destination. We offer free shipping on orders that meet a specified minimum as a token of appreciation for your trust. All orders are shipped from Barcelona. Please refer to the attached table for rates and conditions based on your location.

Order Processing:

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
  • If your order includes samples, please check the related information here.
  • For orders without samples, we aim to ship them the next business day. In some cases, if we receive your order before 10 AM (Spanish time), it may be shipped the same day.
  • In August, orders will be shipped on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Saturday delivery (non-holiday) is available; however, please keep in mind that we need sufficient time to prepare your order. Only orders placed by Thursday and meeting the preparation time requirements will be accepted for Saturday delivery. If it’s Friday, please check with us to see if it’s still possible to process it in time. Available only within mainland Spain.

Order Tracking:

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is prepared, allowing you to monitor its status in real time.

Orders with Backordered or Pre-order Items:

If your order includes reserved items, it will be shipped once the order is complete. In general, orders with backordered items are shipped within 3 to 4 days from receipt of the order, except for new releases that have a specific launch date.

Returns:

We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your order, as long as the products are returned in their original, unopened, and unused condition. If you wish to make a return, it is essential to contact us beforehand.

  • Shipping costs for voluntary returns will be borne by the customer. For approved returns, you can choose between a store credit or a refund to the original payment method, deducting shipping costs, even if shipping was free.
  • In the event of an issue with delivery, such as a customer reporting that they have not received their order, but we have proof of delivery from the courier service, a refund will not be issued. However, a replacement shipment may be arranged if, after resolving the matter with the courier service, the claim is found to be valid in favor of the customer.

Special Cases:

In situations where shipping costs are disproportionately high, we may opt not to proceed with the shipment. We will inform you and seek a suitable solution.

Presentation and Care:

We take great care in the presentation of your order, which is carefully packed in our custom boxes. Additionally, we take photos of all orders before shipping to ensure they are in perfect condition.
