Description
The fragrances of the Mutis Nueva Granada brand ooze the languid and sensual atmosphere of those equatorial territories.
That feeling of suspension of time and expansion of space immortalized by Nobel Prize for Literature winner Gabriel Garcia Márquez, also a son of Colombia.
Thanks to the Magic Realism which pervades through his work, Márquez made his home country popular around the whole world.
El Dorado takes us to the core of Central American mythology. The El Dorado is a mythical place where men live in peace between cities paved with gold and mountains of emerald. After the first conquistadores discovered gold, kings and bankers from all over Europe followed in their tracks in the quest for wealth.
The legend of the Indio Dorado, an Indian king who immersed himself in the Guatavita lagoon covered in gold dust, throwing immense quantities of precious stones into it, attracted the attention of European kings for decades.
Alas, the golden city was never found. The myth, however, survives to this day.
El Dorado shines with aquatic and aromatic scents: a dark fougere that takes us into the mists of the mythical lagoon, between golden powders and flashes of precious stones.
Top notes: bergamot, lemon, pepper, juniper and cannabis.
Heart notes: frankincense, pine and iris.
Base notes: amber, vanilla and sandalwood.
