A Romanian perfume company that was born in very grey and uncertain times, but a house that manages to demonstrate the power of adaptation of the human being.
Behind Closed Doors was created as yang to the yin of A13’s previous creation, Out In The Open.
It begins with a seductive invitation, follows it up with a fireworks display and ends up being as deep and meaningful as a meditation.
Its joyful floral and citrusy top notes, spicy sweet middle and woody core with animalic hints, make for an intricate chypre, meant to evoke the intimacy of a set, yet ever evolving inner universe.
If balance had a scent, you would find it in a flask of Behind Closed Doors. Order and chaos, matter and spirit, as seen through the lens of a scope one uses to explore within, rather than beyond.
Our Behind Closed Doors belong to the first batch of the perfume, which is currently sold out by the brand itself. Last units, until the second batch appears.
Top notes: bergamot, blood orange, mandarin orange, pineapple and magnolia.
Heart notes: cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, leather and white honey.
Base notes: cedar, amber, incense, honey, vanilla, balsam of Peru, pink pepper and civet.
