At its heart shines the narcissus, whose richness and radiance reflect the vibrant spirit of those years. Yet the flower’s name and intoxicating aroma also hint at a darker side, reminding us of the Greek myth of Narcissus—a warning that likely went unnoticed by the hedonists of the era.
