Wow, wow, wow. This is not a perfume for me, not what I was looking for, but it left me very very intrigued. I was just sniffing it again and the development is very interesting. The ‘drydown’ is more my style, I could wear it but what surprised me the most was the beginning, especially after reading the reviews, because I didn’t notice almost no sweetness but a smoky note, like incense but not frankinsence type, something more ‘smoky’.
I told my husband that it smelled like a church but not just any old church here today, something more
    Byzantine, distant.
Then I smelled it again and I imagined an image of a small wooden church with fat beams and drops of resin in the middle of a dark forest in some remote place in Eastern Europe centuries ago at the beginning of Christianity.
This dark note then fades, but the rest of the trip is mysterious and elegant.
As I said it’s not for me, but I say that with a bit of regret because I think it’s very well done and doesn’t leave you indifferent.
I’m actually going to smell it again… uh, I think it’s a little addictive.

      Thank you very much Olga.
We love your description of Shah’ryar. It should not be forgotten who Shah’ryar was. Shah’ryar is a character that appears in The Thousand and One Nights, also known as The Tales of the Thousand and One Nights. This character is the framed protagonist king of the narrative.
In the story, Shah’ryar discovers that his wife has cheated on him, which leads him to develop a deep resentment towards women. In response, he decides to marry a new wife every day and execute her at dawn, believing that all women are unfaithful. This cycle repeats until Shahrazad, one of the wives, begins to tell him fascinating and captivating stories every night, but without ever concluding them, which keeps Shah’ryar’s attention and prevents his execution.
It’s fascinating how you’ve captured the essence of the fragrance by pairing it with such an evocative image. Your description of the opening note, with its hint of smoke and reminiscences of an ancient church in Eastern Europe, adds a unique layer to the sensory experience of Shah’ryar.
      Perhaps Shah’ryar’s puritanism?
We loved your review, and encourage you to write more about the fragrances you purchase from Daring Light.
      Best regards.

Again everything perfect, easy follow-up, smooth communication, lots of samples and pampered packaging. I can only continue to recommend them.
Regarding the perfume, it is an absolute spectacle, perhaps the sweetest of the collection, but without losing an iota of that signature personal touch that Rania J. brings to each creation.

      Thank you very much David.
Enjoy it very much, it is a sensational fragrance, and if Rania’s Eau de Parfum formulations are already long-lasting, this Extrait de Parfum raises that estimation even more.
      Greetings.
