Description
Imagine a medieval monastery library from the novel The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco, full of dark secrets, manuscript treasures, world knowledge, wooden bookshelves and labyrinthine secret passages. The monks in dark heavy clothes growing herbs on the monastery hills that spread its rich smell all over the area.
Or in case if you don’t know that masterpiece of literature, Old Library reminds of old dusty books with fragile pages, which soaked up the smell of the wooden bookshelves. You take one of those hundred-year-old books and get comfortable in the velvet armchair with a cup of hot and sweet tea with bergamot.
Scent can be described as warm, deep, saturated, woodsy and powdery spicy-sweet (even a little “dusty”).
Completely handmade, non-alcoholic product created in the Dark Tales studio in Uppsala (Sweden) with natural essences of the highest quality. No chemicals are used in its creation. Half of the perfume is made up of essential oils that form part of the olfactory notes.
Due to the high concentration of the raw material that makes up the perfume, sometimes a slight sediment may precipitate at the bottom, but this is not a problem and shows the high quality and noble nature of its ingredients. A light shaking and it will disappear.
Limited editions.
This fragrance is inspired by the discontinued fragrance “Old Library” from the “Curious Perfume Collection” (2019).
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT WAS REFORMULATED IN AUTUMN 2022, SO IT WILL BE A TOTALLY NEW EXPERIENCE.
Top notes: bergamot, basil.
