Abandoned at sea, the tuberose surfed the waves, defied the great creatures that inhabit the deep sea, mourned its loneliness and dried up in the sun. In its withered life, it clung to a block of ambergris as it danced with the red seaweed.
He defended his right to life with all his might, clinging to a coral. It was not looked down upon and was allowed to grow and live. Until finally his precious life came back to us, for us to enjoy.
The tuberose is a white flower that has come from far away, carried by the waves in a shell: its home, the chest in which it has settled, its cool refuge.
Don’t call it marine. It is an underwater tuberose, wet and mineral.
Top notes: banana leaves, saffron and rhubarb.
Heart notes: tuberose, coral and petricore.
Base notes: tuberose absolute, red algae absolute, sea musk (by distillation) and ambergris.
