Anaïs Biguine is a lover of literature and nature, so it was inevitable that she would unite her passions in perfumery. This led her to create JARDINS D’ECRIVAINS, where, inspired by the world’s most beautiful gardens, she brings together her favorite writers through her unique interpretations.
Christopher Marlowe was the bad boy of Elizabethan theatre. Handsome and good natured, Marlowe was also a spy and a student of the occult. This scent is dense, heady, feral, and theatrical. The top notes feature the poisonous nectar of the tuberose blended with opulent Osmanthus. The middle notes of dried flowers evoke tragic poetry. Hints of powdered leather with chypre make up the base notes.

MARLOWE is not ostentation or elitism (surely you understand me), it is a work of olfactory art. An intoxicating floral at the start, dark and narcotic on the dry-down that sublimates the skin. It grabs you and won’t let go…. And in my opinion the best is in the drying.

I am not a tuberose lover and since I discovered this fragrance years ago, I became addicted.
Think that you have, in addition to a fragrance jewel, a collector’s item. The brand decided to stop manufacturing its perfumes in 100 ml format, and once the remaining stock of Marlowe in 100 ml is exhausted, it will be replenished with its new 50 ml format, in the style of the brand’s other fragrances, with a leather lining.
All 100 ml bottles are the latest from Jardins d’écrivains.

A truly different tuberose fragrance, and this is coming from someone obsessed with this note, who has dozens of the most beautiful and renowned perfumes with this floral accord in his collection. Here it is presented with a remarkable spicy and woody undertone, something that adds mystery and darkness to a flower that normally appears luminous, crass and heavy.
