SHEKOR PERFUME

Shekor is born from the land. Its name comes from the Bangla word shekor, meaning “roots”, and this idea defines the entire brand. Rather than leaning on fantasy or artifice, Shekor looks to the ground that has carried centuries of history, labour, and memory. Perfume here is not conceived as escape, but as belonging.

Bangladesh is not a distant source of inspiration, but the heart of the project. Each creation is shaped as a fragment of territory brought to the skin, a way of expressing cultural identity through scent. The brand reclaims an origin rarely represented in niche perfumery, speaking with its own voice — honest, grounded, and uncompromising.

Shekor’s work is guided by respect for the craft. Collaborations with perfumers such as Antonio Gardoni and Sultan Pasha are driven by restraint rather than ego, with a clear focus on natural materials and slow, considered processes, far removed from trends or mass production. The fragrances unfold over time, closer to a narrative than to immediate impact.

That same philosophy is reflected in the aesthetic: clean, enduring bottles, earth-toned palettes, and a visual identity that feels quiet, balanced, and lasting. In an industry often defined by excess, Shekor chooses depth over spectacle.

Though deeply rooted in Bangladesh, the brand has already travelled beyond its borders. Its ambition is not scale, but resonance: to show that the most authentic form of luxury often comes from returning to one’s roots.
