RENIER PERFUMES

When Art is inside you, you just have to let it out. And that is what Renier Rodríguez Méndez has felt throughout his life. Since his childhood, and being the third generation of a family of plastic artists from the largest island of the Caribbean, Cuba, he entertained himself by shaping the clay balls that his father put in his hands to allow him to work.

In his youth he continued to practice a multitude of plastic arts such as painting, design and ceramics, and he began to feel that by smelling things, his mind gave colours to the smell.
Little by little he began to feel that his world was divided into two loves, perfumery and the plastic arts, but in Cuba it was difficult to acquire perfumes in the 1990s.

Settled in Europe, specifically in Spain during 2007 and 2008, he met Daniel Josier, and that was when he exploited the hidden energy to create his own brand of perfumery, Renier Perfumes, with a unique background, joining his paintings and brushstrokes with the creation of perfumes or vice versa.

Renier's first fragrances are the result of his brushstrokes and cooperation with Daniel Josier himself.

He now lives in Prague and it is a great pleasure and pride to establish a mutual cooperation between Renier Perfumes and Daring Light.
