V Canto is inspired by the most beautiful love story ever written, the love for true origins, for deep roots and for the land of one’s birth. In fact, for over 700 years, the Terenzi family has lived near the castle of Gradara, one of the most suggestive castles in Italy. Even the supreme Dante Alighieri dedicated to this magical place a song of his Comedy, the song of Paolo and Francesca, immortal figures sculpted by immortal verses.

Our creations are born of these views and these verses. The Blue collection encapsulates poetry and medieval history made of passion and love, sins and virtues, vices and humanity. With the Red & Green collection, Paolo and Tiziana’s art is enriched with new stories inspired by the figure of Lucrethia Borgia, resident and proud queen of the Castle of V Canto. Finally, the Foglie d’Amore collection, made with the ancient technique of gold and silver leaf, applied by hand to make each bottle a unique and inimitable creation.

A beautiful, fascinating, sophisticated, regal woman… and truly lethal, like the fragrance named after her. When we conjure up an image of Lucrezia, her figure becomes hazy. She is such a universal and powerful character that she fills every nook of her reverberating strength, just as this fragrance evolves in its compelling bouquet.

Precious flowers with a hypnotic scent, so persuasive and exotic as to create the unique allure of mystery and charm, so ruthlessly lethal and dangerous. The perfume is blended like a lethal secret potion and, like a true femme fatale, attracts and enchants, and once you are under its spell you are captured and captivated forever with no chance of escaping.

It opens with a subtle, seductive head note, its sweet harmony conferred by juicy pear and lime flower, with a counterpoint of pink pepper and petit grain. The intoxicating vigour of the flowers has laid its lethal trap so there is no escape from the Arabian jasmine embraced by the powerful notes of wild jasmine, with underlying hints of coffee and cocoa powder, magically spiced by exquisite, rare Zanzibar cloves.

The magic potion is underpinned by a compelling mix of exotic woods like patchouli and cedar, interwoven with the tempting sweet resin notes of Sumatran benzoin and Madagascan vanilla. A scent of hypnotic, bewitching power and sensual, exciting beauty.
