Libertine Neroli inaugurates a line of perfumes dedicated to specific raw materials: these are not simple fragrances, but complex architectures that revolve around one main ingredient.
Neroli is the scent of abundance, of abandonment to pleasures, and its fresh and cheerful aspect will make you think about the mythical places of Italian summer worldliness, immortalised by films such as Federico Fellini’s Dolce Vita, William Wyler’s Roman Holiday or Anthony Minghella’s The Talented Mr. Ripley.
Neroli, like any white flower, is tenacious, strong and seductive, and this character is accentuated by some more animalic notes to create a accord that is not secondary and stands out wherever you put it.
This Neroli accord is set in a Chypre structure, with oakmoss and sweet, honeyed labdanum. This is counterbalanced by another of Francesca’s favourite notes, leather, which adds an animalic touch, creating a refined and elegant contrast with great character.
Top notes: bergamot and petitgrain.
Heart notes: neroli, geranium and iris.
Base notes: animal accord, leather, labdanum, benzoin and oak moss.

I liked it a lot, for me it is in the Etruscan Water style but more bearable, with the mossy tone lowered and adding neroli. Very good performance.

Excellent composition of Francesca Bianchi very much in her line and with the quality we are accustomed to, they are sensory experiences that transport us to vintage landscapes although to get into her creations you have to have some learning. The perfume bears her stamp, a pleasant surprise that Daring Light is betting on this great artist. All this combined with the pleasure of shopping at this great store where the buying process is smooth, communicative and fast. I am only left wondering what my next F. Bianchi purchase will be.
