Description
THE ANCESTRAL FIRE
Each fragrance by Angela Ciampagna is a unique, numbered piece, crafted with an exceptional commitment to artisanal excellence. The boxes and bottles bear the serial number of each product, reflecting the brand’s dedication to quality and detail.
The small-scale manufacturing process ensures that every batch of Ignes is created with artisanal methods and innovative techniques that give the fragrances their signature smoky tones. Every part of the process is done by hand, from the machined and hand-finished caps to the individually applied labels. The boxes are carefully created, lined, and decorated one by one, guaranteeing the authentic craftsmanship of the final product.
Ignes is inspired by the ancient Faugni ritual in the village of Atri. The name Fauni-Ignes, from the ancient Latin Fauni-Ignes, means the fire of Faunus, the Roman god of fertility. This ancient pagan agricultural tradition, which invokes the favors of Faunus, was incorporated into Christianity over the centuries.
Every December 8th, the people of Atri celebrate the ritual with bundles of burning reeds, tied with natural ropes, which are paraded through the charming village. To the rhythm of the traditional musical band, the bonfires light up the night until dawn, while the air fills with a mix of prayers, wine, and the ringing of the cathedral bells.
The sacred and the profane intertwine in this ritual, an event that marks the passage of time and has endured for a thousand years. In Ignes, the ancient fire takes on a sacred character, evoking spirituality and a connection to nature.

Andres De Carlos Montoya (verified owner) –
It is a bit smoky without being overpowering at all, it is more nocturnal and woody. It smells like fire, bonfire and a magical night.
I was very pleasantly surprised.
Daring Light (store manager) –
Thank you very much Andres.
Best regards.
