When Art is inside you, you just have to let it out. And that is what Renier Rodríguez Méndez has felt throughout his life.

Settled in Europe, specifically in Spain during 2007 and 2008, he met Daniel Josier, and that was when he exploited the hidden energy to create his own brand of perfumery, Renier Perfumes, with a unique background, joining his paintings and brushstrokes with the creation of perfumes or vice versa.

A fragrance inspired by the scent of freshly sun-dried skin after a swim in the waters of the Caribbean Sea.

The perfume opens with notes of lemon and petitgrain balanced with Italian bergamot. It starts from the first minute with a wave of joy that fills us with the desire to start the day knowing in advance that everything is going to be alright.

As it begins to dry down is when the danger emerges and magical things start to happen. It becomes a semi-salty perfume that smells like freshly sun-dried skin after a swim in the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Salty and sweet at the same time.

The heart notes of the fragrance inspired by lily of the valley and natural jasmine, with a slight hint of leather and seaweed, generate a sense of security and relaxation, becoming a haunted, spicy, sexy and floral seawater spring.

Guanabo in the authentic language of the Taino Indians means: “small island in the middle of the sea”. On the shores of East Havana in Cuba, a beach bears the same name. The inspiration to create this perfume was to imagine the son of a great cacique, young, virile, unbridled, adventurous and heartbreaking.
