Jijide is an Italian niche perfumery brand born from the collaboration between Italian and Chinese creatives, celebrating the friendship between cultures.
Jijide is the transcription of a Chinese term 积极的 (jī jí de) that reflects a positive and energetic attitude towards life, a true joy of living. Jijide offers a breath of fresh air with its innovative approach and its ability to seamlessly integrate diverse cultural influences.
Fuoco is a tribute to the warmth that envelops body and soul during the cool autumn nights in Bosnia. Inspired by the vibrant daily routine of this country, Fuoco captures the essence of those moments when, after a day’s work, people would gather to share tobacco and small treats at dusk.
This tradition, deeply rooted in Bosnia, is nurtured by a land that abundantly produces the leaves used for smoking. Boris Barzut, the Bosnian nose behind this creation, treasures these childhood memories before being forced to leave his country due to war.
With Fuoco, Boris has succeeded in recreating the comforting atmosphere of those evenings, where the fire, both literal and figurative, served as a link of community and belonging.
