Askr by Jorum is a sensory experience that connects you with history and nature in its purest and wildest form.

Jorum Studio was established in 2010 by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall who works under the pseudonym Jorum Laboratories and has formulated fragrances for cult brands.

Askr bursts into a mosaic of wild botanicals swirling in a mist of spiced balsams, evoking the primordial essence of nature. Its dark and ozonic origins, ink-stained, fragment and blend with driftwoods, as if narrating an ancient story etched on forgotten scrolls.

This perfume, named after Askr, the first man created by the gods in Norse mythology from an ash tree, symbolizes the deep connection between man and nature. As tendrils of resin smoke and seamoss caress the earth, the Ash transforms into Elm, reflecting a cycle of life, death, and rebirth.

The voices of the ancestors resonate in every note of this fragrance, leaving a trail of ambergris, papyrus, and freshly cut hay. Each inhalation transports you to ancestral times, where nature and man were one, and the elements intertwined in an eternal dance of creation and transformation.
