Description
Shekor Perfume is not born from luxury understood as artifice, but from something far deeper: the land. Its name comes from the Bangla word shekor, meaning “roots”, and this idea supports the entire identity of the brand. While other houses build imagined worlds, Shekor looks downward, to the soil that has gathered centuries of history, labour, memory, and renewal.
Ashar is the precise moment when the earth begins to breathe again.
The first monsoon rain falls onto heated ground and everything shifts: the air clears, green awakens, and the landscape regains its pulse.
The fragrance evokes this quiet renewal. A humid, luminous freshness, almost mineral in character, intertwines with the gentle floral softness of Kadam flower and the vegetal calm of bamboo and green tea. Nothing feels abrupt or immediate; everything unfolds naturally, like a landscape reassembling itself after the storm.
At the base, a discreet warmth, lightly saline, musky, with echoes of damp earth, anchors the composition to the skin and extends its sense of calm. Ashar does not attempt to recreate rain, but the life that emerges after it.
Created by Sultan Pasha for Shekor, Ashar is a fragrance of balance and contemplation: fresh without being cold, floral without excess, natural without artifice. A scent that does not seek to impress, but to accompany, like the silence that lingers when the rain finally stops.
