Daniel Josier, was born as a brand in 2014, by the hand of its namesake author Daniel Josier. The names of their creations may make us think of classic fragrances, nothing could be further from the truth, they are creative, modern, but without stridency and adapt to our skin in a perfect symbiosis.
There are numbers that transcend mathematics. 28 is one of them — the union of two and eight, of partnership and infinity. An eternal bond that breathes through everyday life, in the complicity of a glance, in the warmth of a shared gesture.
With this creation, Daniel Josier celebrates not only his twenty-eight-year journey in perfumery, but also something far more intimate: the beauty of days unmarked by calendars, the small things that sustain life and love.
28 opens with the joy of the unexpected — a sweet, juicy radiance that caresses the skin with lightness. Gradually, it settles into a golden warmth, where the shadow of tobacco and the glow of liqueur blend with the spicy softness of memory. Top notes: banana, plum and walnut.
Body notes: cognac, tobacco leaf, tonka bean and cinnamon.

I bought it blindly, just because the notes it declared caught my attention.
The opening combines banana and plum in an unexpected way: it has a hint of sweetness, but with a balanced freshness that prevents it from being heavy.
Over time, cognac appears, accompanied once again by cinnamon. Everything becomes warmer and more enveloping. I like how it maintains that blend of sweetness and freshness that makes it so unique and easy to wear.
